Hi, I'm Miss Bliss! (Technically, MRS. I love being Mrs. Adam Stinson) I'm a stay at home mother of one and have danced all my life.  I wasn't able to start dance until I was 11 because there were 5 other kids to provide for in my family and money was limited.  So I am familiar with the battle of being tight on money but still wanting to provide your family with great opportunities. I decided to start this mini dance studio to make it possible for local parents to get their children involved in the arts at an early age without breaking the bank. Not only are your kids getting a super fun intro to dance from a qualified instructor for a really good deal, but it also makes it easier for me to stay at home with my baby girl, so we all win :)  

Please know that this studio, although different because of price and quality, is also different because I'm a mom of a toddler too. I'm not about yelling at kids, and I try to treat them like I would treat my own. My purpose is not to achieve perfection with my students. I don't have the competition studio mindset,I'm teaching out of my kitchen for goodness sake. My goal is to help establish a love for dance. I promise you that this little studio is designed to be a fun, loving haven for your precious little ones to express themselves through movement. I hope you are as excited about this journey as I am!

Objective:

 To increase self-concept and self-esteem in children while teaching dance skills and techniques. To instill an appreciation and love for their unique bodies and all they can physically and mentally accomplish. To attune them to a higher level of excellence than daily life requires, to teach the value of hard work and help push pass self-imposed limitations. To learn to work successfully individually and in groups, to increase awareness of space, time, energy and music, and to just plain enjoy dancing!

Experience:

I have 11 years experience of performing and choreographing modern, ballet, and jazz dance. I also have some experience in gymnastics and tap dance. I’ve danced with the Dance Explosion Studio, Union Middle School Dance Company, Hillcrest High School (HHS) Drill Team, HHS Dance Company, HHS Productions Company, Snow College Dance Ensemble, Weber State University Moving Company and Performing Company. I’ve had the opportunity to compete and place in national dance team competitions as well as perform on tour in Disneyland.
